A 2017 graduate from the Vevey School of Photography, Alessia Olivieri (1992, IT) is an artist and photographer based in Vevey. Between experimentations, performances, and plastic approaches, she photographs as she examines and dissects. In one of her first projects, « Observer effect », she explored the disruptive effect of the observer on the very nature of a scientific experiment. Since then, she has regarded the use of her medium as a laboratory experiment, revealing what we cannot see directly, searching for ways of interpreting what’s hidden in our drawers, our memories, our silent thoughts...
She is also a member of the Collectif Le Salon and a co-founder of the Collectif ACA.
